Selection Process for Brand of the Year Awards

Brands of the Year Award" is an annual category based national contest. The Award Council continuously nominates companies throughout the year that have attracted attention through effective brand management strategy and innovative branding campaigns.

As a nominee, you will receive written intimation letter. Upon receipt of the nominees’ consent, their Pre-nomination form will be put forward in the award council meeting of Brands Foundation along with the brand demographic profile and other supporting evidence. If the application meets the required criteria then their nomination will be included in the ongoing process of qualified consumer survey (quantitative study) and Expert Analysis (qualitative research).

Once the winners are finally identified, the management of Brands Foundation issues a provisional winning confirmation to all successful brands those succeeded to make their way to the victory stand. In addition, companies have the opportunity to directly register their brands for pre-nomination at their own initiative so they can participate in the contest.

Following a scrutiny by our panel of experts, the management of Brands Award Council will inform you in writing whether your brand demographic profile meets the required criteria and has thus been approved and nominated for participation in the Brands of the Year Award.

In the event of non-approval, you will also receive notification respectively and not incur any nomination fee.

The Selection Methodology

The Brands Foundation takes a holistic approach to identify the finalists of Brands of the Year Award. The competition's criteria and categories cover the wide-ranging aspects of professional brand management, consumer preference with a decisive majority, innovative brands strategy, consistent brand IPR protection and sustainable brand trustworthiness.

Our evaluation process is comprised on a nationwide qualified consumer survey (quantitative study), expert analysis and attributes based qualitative brand research.

The award council (jury) is fully authorized to examine each individual criterion as it would like in the evaluation. The order does not represent any order of criteria or evaluation. Only the successful contestants will receive the official written winning confirmation of the jury's results; legal recourse is excluded.
